I just want to thank so much for the wonderful tour that you gave us. Hopefully you remember me. My name is Berna; I'm from Nicaragua, I played Hitler while you gave us-me and my friend- the tour.
I really enjoyed the tour, it was very dynamic and I learned a lot of stuff. When I came back home, I was telling everyone about your tour. Actually my boss is going to Berlin and I told her to take your walking tour.
Wishing you the best in life
Take Care,
Berna Espinoza
Derek was excellent - enthusiastic, informative, passionate (about history!) and happy to hang around and answer questions. It was a great insight into Berlin from a man who seems to genuinely love the place....well worth the money and the time...
We had a truly fascinating walk through Third Reich Berlin. Tom is an engaging and knowledgeable guide, well versed in many aspects of Berlin, not just the Third Reich. He brings an understanding borne of many years' study. We could have listened to Tom for hours, and were only sorry the tour had to end. We'd really recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a balanced and informed view of the Third Reich, and Hitler's rise and fall.

Hello
We went on the Cold War Tour on the 09/08/07, and felt
we should thank Heiko for his fascinating and
informative tour around Berlin. His enthusiasm for
the subject brought the history to life and proved to
be the highlight of our visit. Thank you Heiko.

All you need to know is Nov 9th! It's engrained! Superb tour which took enough time for me to grow an entire beard. If you want to get a detailed overview of Berlin without prior knowledge then you can't pass this tour by.
Thank you to the wonderful, dynamic, passionate, vibrant, hilarious, thought provoking, Berlin loving Brian. Who gave the most amazing tour I have experienced thus far. Has set the bar so high, I'm doubtful any tour will come close, if so, truly my "eyes would roll back into my head." :) Many heartfelt thanks
Derek completely changed my views on tours being cheesy and a waste of time and money.
He has this great persona about him that once you walk up and introduce yourself, you just know it is going to be a great day! This tour is perfect for someone who has never been to Berlin and whether you are alone or with a group, the paths he walks everyone through is fun, interesting, and exciting, but also relaxing enough that you don't feel exhausted. I couldn't believe how the time just flew by. If you are traveling alone, I can not recommend this tour enough, because you really get to meet some friends along the way, which helps anyone get better adjusted in a new environment. I also recommend purchasing Pub Crawl tickets from Derek at the end because that was extremely fun and a great way to seal the deal with all the new friends you just made on the tour:)
Derek's sense of humor is adaptable to anyone in the group. He is just super cool and a great guy with a great sense of humor, because his witty comments will just sort of sneak up on you! While he's talking about the history, you get so engrossed in his speech, that you're kinda all, "Ahhhhh." Then the visual demonstrations at each stop make you kinda all, "Ohhhhh." Then suddenly, he'll crack a joke and you're like, "Haaaa..haaaaa!!!!"
He really was the best tour guide ever and for the price, you just couldn't help but get attached to him. When the tour ended and we parted in front of the Reich, I kept looking back as we walked towards the U-Bahn station and kept telling everyone how sad I was to be saying bye, because without Derek, I probably would have still been wasting time figuring out how to use the U-Bahn, where to go, and other aggravating espisodes that a visitor feels when they don't know their way around a new city.
Thank you for making me fall in love with Berlin:)
Liebe,
Candy
Not only is Brian a deadset legend of a bloke, he has a passion for the city of Berlin that blew me away. Storytelling is an artform, and he has downright mastered it. I haven't been on a better tour anywhere in the world. Cheers mate.
Mike was entertaining and engaging and clearly had a real passion for the knowledge he was sharing with us. He interjected the perfect mix of history, culture and fun and was a great host. Hard to think how this could be improved upon ....... you need more Mikes on bikes!!
