I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this tour's brochure in the lobby of my hostile, Generator. I would have felt horrible, visiting Berlin and missing all those historical sites that I didn't have time to research before my visit. The walking tour was a 100X better than the boat tour that I went on later. Scott was very passionate, well educated, and friendly. I couldn't have imagined a better tour guide, especially after walking my friend and me to the train station. Like others on here, I wish I had had time to go on the other tours, as well.

Hi Heiko,
Many thanks for the great tour, your enthusiasm and passion for Berlin was astounding. It was by far the best walking tour we have ever taken. We have never enjoyed a walking tour as much as this one in any country we've visited, and have never come across such a fabulous guide! We will seek you out next time we're in Berlin...right outside the Dunkin Donuts :)

We write to thank you for a most amazing day spent with Brian Deedrick on his guided Tour.
We were only in Berlin for 3 days and it was the best thing we could have done.
It was absolutely brilliant, we have never experienced a Tour like it, thanks to Brian.
His knowledge of the City and it's history and the enthusiasm with which he taught us so much was outstanding, an unforgetable experience, really.
It was 2am before we got to bed that night because we just couldn't stop talking about the day, one we will always remember with great fondness and appreciation.
Many thanks once again and to Brian too of course
Kind regards
Peter and Susan

The best tour I went on in Europe! Tour guide Heiko conducts the tour in a
laid back, humorous yet highly informative and entertaining way while
answering any and every question you may have. You can tell he loves Berlin
and sharing his incredible knowledge of it. Fascinating city, top bloke and
an awesome tour, a highlight of my european adventure.

What an intelligent way to view a great city! Andrew was both informative and entertaining, and the walk is nicely structured to provide considerable variety and some depth. Berlin's troubled past and its exciting new dynamism were both presented by someone who is knowledgeable and very fond of his adopted city and its people. Many thanks!
My boyfriend and I would like to say a big thank you to Kenny who guided us on the Third Reich tour, on Sat 25/08/07. I think it's safe to say we were both completely blown away at the amount of knowledge he threw at us. The tour itself was fantastic, we loved it. The 4 hours just flew by. We would recommend both the tour and guide to anyone.

I just wanted to write a thank you on behalf of myself and my boyfriend who were part of the Famous Walk on Sunday the 26th August. It was a fascinating 4 hours very well spent. Scott made it a lovely and pleasant afternoon, and we were both impressed with the endless amount of knowledge he shared with us. Would recommend both the tour and guide to anyone. Such a great accent too haha

My partner and I walked through Berlin with Heiko on our first full day in the city. What a good decision that turned out to be! It would be more truthful to say that we walked through twentieth century European history. As someone who was born in the UK just after the end of WWII I had my vague impressions of newsreel clips, half remembered facts and events I simply did not know about, placed with care and wit into a vivid context. Anyone with access to a few books can tell you when and where things happened, but Heiko used the full spectrum of the storyteller's art to demonstrate and explain 'how' and 'why' in a most engaging and memorable way. He clearly puts his heart and soul into what he is doing but his personal experience serves to illuminate understanding and is never allowed to get in the way. Walking with Heiko provided a valuable shift in perspective that will stay with me for a long time.
