Chris was the guide for the tour. Very approachable, very informative and willing to answer questions and worked hard for the moment we met him in the EAST meeting point to the moment we left him some 6 or so hours later. One of the best guides we've had anywhere.

Great tour in a sunny Berlin. Passionate storyteller. High tempo. I really enjoyed getting so much information about buildings and places that would otherwise have passed by unnoticed or without context.

Excellent excellent tour. I can't imagine a better way of being shown around Berlin Wall and Third Reich sites. The bonus we got was Heiko's heartfelt recitation of Bertolt Brecht's and Wilfred Owen's poetry.

My boyfriend Heath and I came on your walking tour of Berlin last Sunday (young Aussies, one having previously lived in Caulfield like you!) and had a fantastic time. We really liked how you integrated commentary on the various sites with an overview of the global political and social systems that shaped Germany throughout the 20th Century. We found your tour very informative and very interesting - better than just talking about the bricks and mortar!

Went with Kurt on his pub crawls far tooooooo many times to comment on a specific one. Kurt went above and beyond to make sure people had a good time, whether it was on a pub crawl, or on one of the walking tours. Every weekend was a good one with him!

Nigel was a most excellent guide, able to finely tune his delivery to his audience. Extremely knowledegable, not only of the subject in hand, but of Berlin as a whole. He brought to life many aspects of Berlin in the 40s, in vivid detail, sparing no punches, but at the same time keeping a sense of proportion. Well done. Excellent stuff.

Did the tour with Derek yesterday and felt inclined to comment immediately - absolutely amazing, has inspired me to want to learn more about German history and the city Derek loves and knows so well! The Third Reich tour was a great supplement to the famous Insiders Tour that we had already done - we're sorry we couldn't fit the Cold War tour in as well! Derek was a great guide with a comprehensive knowledge of the rise of the Nazis, WWII & everything in between. He was happy to take questions all the way through the tour as well, which was great. Whilst it is a fairly dark subject area, the tour was fabulous, & we'd recommend it to anyone staying in Berlin.
