Had booked myself onto the 3rd Reich Tour, but as my wife wanted to come too, we swapped on to the more general tour, as she hadn't previously been to Berlin. We were fortunate enough to have Chris as our guide - he had been my guide the previous day on the Behind The Iron Curtain tour. Chris is a really engaging host, a native of Berlin, and though his mother tongue is German, his English is good and he can be readily heard and understood at all times. Although these tours could easily become a victim of their own success (there were 42 guests on this tour after we reached the second pick-up point!), Chris was unfazed by the challenge of communicating to and marshalling such a large group, and even got everyone to link arms and perform a synchronised dance routine outside a nightclub on Friedrichstrasse..! This tour takes in a wide range of sites, mostly covered on foot, so be prepared for several miles wlaking - but it's well worth it. My wife was really impressed with the tour, with Berlin itself, and with Chris as a guide.

Chris is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable, easy to listen to and happy to answer questions, his passion and enthusiasm for his subject are clear. This is a very interesting tour. Recommended.

This tour was immense. Nigels knowledge of the Nazi state and war-torn Berlin were incredible and some of the infamous sites we visited, particularly the Wehrmacht HQ, really came to life with his brilliant story telling charm. It was indicative of a good tour that almost everyone stayed right to the end even though it was minus 10 degrees and blizzard weather conditions!

Nigel was amazing!!! he has given me a real interest for german hisory. I learnt so much that i can take home and apply to my studies at university. When i back im germany i will definitly take another tour with nigel! The tour was great, it was made a really fun experience even though the weather was freezing!! haha! I will recomend it to anyone who is visiting berlin! loved it!

A great choice for a day in Berlin. Nigel was a very informed and enthusiatic tour guide, who presented the information in a succinct and enthusiastic manner. Regardless of your background the tour was informative and interesting and the day flew. Of special note was Nigel's willingness to answer questions and give advice on your stay in Berlin, regarding places to eat, nightlife and customs. I would/will certainly return to take another tour.

Phil was awesome taking us around on the bikes and showing us Berlin. I would of commented on it earlier but just actually stumbled along this site and found ya. Phil also such a good guy he hooked us up with pub crawl tickets too.

Being a sceptic, I didn't expect as much from the tour (Sachsenhausen) as the marketing material. However, I was impressed; the marketing material was understated. The knowledge, insight, and professionalism of Nigel was impressive, and for me, it set a new highest standard for walking tours. Other people on the tour felt likewise, since all but two of the 18 or so of us showed up the next day for the Insider tour --- five of which looked much worse for wear after the pub crawl as well, so beware.

My husband and I took 2 of Kenny's tours. Not surprisingly, we were not alone in enjoying his commentaries of Berlin. After reading all the other comments about his tours, we agree that Kenny was simply the best! Thanks for making our trip to Berlin memorable!! (And Kenny....can't wait to read your book!)

Kurt was a great tour guide. Berlin was made extremely enjoyable with his tour. I and my friend had a very fantastic, tiring summer day under the hot sun and I still survived filming Kurt while he was giving us a great historical background. Greetings from the Turkish girls!

Thanks to Nigel our stay in Berlin was perfect He is so passionate when he is showing you around your beautifull city and with his vast knowledge of its history he kept us all engrossed even though we were frozen and covered in snow. When we come back to Berlin we will look you guys up again because we would like our children to experience what we did while we where there. We enjoyed our tour so much that we went on the Sachsenhausen the next day. Thanks Nigel see ya soon!
