Fantastic guide, terrific tour.
Nigel knows Berlin inside out, left and right. The tour was a magnificent experience becuase Nigel gave so many tid-bids that were out of the ordinary.
Long live Nigel!
We enjoyed the most fascinating, amusing, thought provoking and educational tour from Heiko which gave us a fabulous grounding for the rest of our trip. THANK YOU!

Kenny, Thank you so very much for your incredible insight into Hitler's rise to power, WW2 and the immense amount of minutia details that never got lost along the way.
I was alone that day - however your kind spirit also added to the amazing experience I had. I have been raving about you ever since.
Please let me know when you finished your novel; I will buy it in a second.
Warmest wishes,
Chad
I went on this tour on the strength of Kenny's fantastic Famous Insider
tour the previous day, and I was not disappointed. Extremely informative
and totally absorbing. Kenny tells a good story very well and the
attention to detail makes the experience all the more real. Really the
best walking tour I have ever experienced. STRONGLY recommended.
There really are no words to describe the intense experience I had on the Sachenhausen Tour. Nigel was the guide, and his depth of knowlege and quite frankly, his own life experience with the military gave all of us the feeling of being transported into the lives of the prisoners, the guards etc. He made it personal for each one of us, and explained things from every different angle. From taking the trains to Oranienburg, to walking the Death March, to the detailed historical, -I can't impress how much this tour means to the human spirit. It may crush it for a time (feeling the pain of those that were there), but it certainly will make sure that individuals never let anything like that happen again.

Greetings,
We took a tour with Nigel on the 3rd Reich--we have been traveling in Europe for 6 months and his enthusiasm for tours and ability to get the entire group involved in living the history is commendable. It was a cold rainy day yet the time went by so fast. We learned so much and felt like we'd experienced some history. Seeing the place where the plot to kill Hitler was planned and the square and room where some people who where brave enough to try to stand up against the seemingly invincible and died for their actions is not something that I will soon forget.
The beauty in doing these tours is that not only do people learn about history hopefully they also take away that very ordinary people have also changed events by taking action in their ordinary lives.
Looking Forward,
Laura L. S. Kotelman
My friend Carolina and I shared four hours of our day with Jamie and the others on the insider walking tour of Berlin. Jamie was a very engaging guide. My thanks to him for unfolding a historically rich portrait of Berlin right before my eyes. I especially enjoyed the added touches of humor and sarcasm along the way. Very well timed. Chinese restaurant, especially. Molte grazie!
To Jamie: If you feel comfortable with the idea, would you consider sending me via epost, a couple of chapters of your ph.D work; I am planning a trip to Sicily in the summer and I want to know more about exactly Roman and Greek archeol. esp if some of your research is regarding Sicilian archeol.
All the best in finishing your ph.D. work!
Take Care

Superb tour of Berlin with Jamie whose knowledge and obvious affection for the city shone through-would not hesitate in recommending this tour company to my friends. I would have liked to have done the other tours but ran out of time!

Kenny was an excellent guide and showed a genuine knowledge for the city and presented it in an interesting, enthusiastic and humorous way. The tour was an excellent way to see the city if, like me, you are tight for time. Saves so much time over blundering around with a guide book and Kenny gives a detailed insight into each stop on the tour that most guide books would struggle to convey.
