Four of us went to Berlin for the Day arriving at the airport we took a taxi to the start point and had a coffee before it started. We were overwhelmed by the information we were told and all the sights we visited, every few yards there was some thing of interest. There was snow on the ground and it was cold! the break at checkpoint charlie for a coffee was welcome! At the end of the tour we had seen more than we expected to be able to see in a day so we found a cafe for a hot late lunch. The walk was all we needed for our day trip to Berlin. Book your day trip to Berlin and take this walk you'll be glad you did.

Absolutely awesome. Would recommend it to anyone. Kenny was extremely knowledgeable, easy to listen to, and kept everything at a good pace. Was funny to boot, and couldnt have asked for better.
This tour is everything you need to know about the common facts of Berlin and its history, especially when you have a guide who is funny and interesting as Kenny!
Considering he had a group size of around 60 people, he managed to keep everyone together and made it so everyone could hear and understand his tour. His knowledge of the city and its history were very thorough and he made it most enjoyable!
I hope he is still writing that book!!!!!

The best 12 euros I have ever spent..... I was enthralled by the depth of knowledge of Nigel and his infectious enthusiasm for his subject. I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in the Third Reich.
Keep up the good work!!!!

Tony

My partner and I are still grasping at superlatives; we agreed on brilliant, which only touches on our experience. We love history and to have such charismaticly applied knowledge and with passion, made us want to learn yet more. The principle wehrmacht building was a must and yet so off the beaten track; we could never have found it alone. We look forward to visiting again and perhaps go on other tours in Moscow maybe? Its a long way from Tillydrone...
Nigel - we just made it to sachsenhausen.

The Third Reich tour was fantastic!!!Nigel was an amazing guide and Mark and I really enjoyed visiting the memorial for the soliders who plotted against Hitler- especially because of the barely untouched nazi building which really gave an eerie feeling!!! Also we had no idea that there were so many attempts on hitlers life. We completly reccomend this tour. It was great!!!

My girlfriend and I decided to undergo the Third Reich Tour whilst on a week-end visit to Berlin. We felt it would be quite prudent to mention how incredibly interesting and informative we thought the tour was. We were overwhelmed with the depth of knowledge and precision of our Tour Guide, Nigel. Nigel also produced an in depth account (at the exact location of where it was organised) of the Stauffenberg 20th July 44 plot. The building was largely unruined by the war and as such gave one a very real feeling of what must of happened. In addition it opened our eyes to another side of the German Army of those times which was perhaps overlooked beforehand. Nigel spoke fluent Russian and German which enabled him to translate Russian inscriptions on the famous Russian Memorial near the Brandenberg Gate - extremely interesting and highly reccommended.

My girlfriend and I decided to spend a week-end in Berlin to discover a little more about the intriguing place that it is. We decided to undergo an impromptu tour 'The Famous Insider Tour' with our guide, Kenny. We both found the tour extremely interesting and highly informative. A huge amount of history was covered in a space of roughly 4 hours. A very accurate and passionate account was given of the fall of the Berlin Wall which we highly reccommend to anyone.
