I took part in the morning tour led by Scott. Please pass on my sincere thanks for an amazing tour! Scott created for me, and I'm sure the other participants, a very memorable experience. He brought 20th Century history to life through his detailed knowledge of the Nazi and Cold War eras. Many aspects of the tour are deeply shocking and moving. The memorial of the mother with her dead son at her feet brought a lump to my throat especially, I think, because I have two sons of my own who, thankfully, are in fine health.
This day was certainly one of those significant life events that stay with you all your life.
Congratulations to everyone on your team for a great service. If I ever return to Berlin, I shall take another tour without fail.
Best regards to you all and especially Scott.
I will suggest to all my friends to choose to visit Berlin by Insidertour. My wife and I enjoyed so much with Jamie's explanation of the history and the development of the sites. You pay so little but you get so much! It is such a pitty that you do not have the same program in other European countries. It is understandable that only in an orderly city like Berlin such a tour is meaningful. We like it very much!

Dunkley simply ROCKS!
85 tourists, a cold Berlin day and a guide who made the tour of Berlin come alive. His first hand knowledge, passion for the subject and his dry English wit? had us all wanting more. The gluwine at the Brandenberg Gate post tour will be remembered for many years to come.
Our tour of nazi era third reich sites in Berlin was totally unexpectedly outstanding. Siberian temperatures, slipping on snow and ice, we loved every minute of it, and Nigel too. Nigel is, in a word, brilliant. He has an awesome mass of detailed knowledge, enthusiasm, humor and is just totally cool. Hi and thank you from his Big Apple fan club! Rosie B
Between Xmas and New Year we stayed in Berlin and attended your Tour through Berlin with Scotsman Nigel on the 30th December. Despite the cold Nigel showed us all the mayor sights and gave some in depth insight what it was like to live with the Iron curtain (since he lived there).
I would like to thank you for making my stay even more enjoyable. This tour was (despite the cold) one of the highlights of our stay and I will certainly recommend your company when asked for it.
Thank you

It was so much fun! We will definetly be coming back as soon as we can! Thanks so much for making our time in Berlin something I will never forget! Sincerely, Melanie + Moshe Leib

If your in berlin do the tours. went on the famous insider bike tour and 3rd reich tours both with tom (legend!). Tours are interesting and extremely informative. it was amazing seeing all the places we had studied. and learning even more! just do it!
We were so pleased we did the Berlin Insider Tour when we first landed in the city as it really set us up for a great time for the remainder of our brief stay. Our guide, Scott, was absolutely fantastic, and so entusiastic in his love of Berlin, and the information he provided was fascinating, and what we learnt on the tour helped us plan what to do and where to go over the next few days. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to do this particular tour, so much so that we

Just home from a couple of weeks in Central Europe. By far the high point of the trip was your walking tour of Berlin with Brian. I note that a previous writer has said it all. The tour, which, overan its scheduled time (a real positive), was definitely the best I have ever been on....and I have had quite a few good ones. Brian was passionate, enthusiastic, and quite emotional about the whole Berlin "thing" Brian, give up the artistic directing in Canada, and stay with Berlin...it's definitely your spiritual home Jack

I came to Berlin for the second time after having been there 3 years ago and had gone on an Insider Tour then also. I remembered how great the tour was the first time, so I went on another, this time with my husband. On Friday 15th July we both had the best tour we have been on yet. Brian did a brilliant job of showing us around and giving a breathtaking account of the history. His passion for Berlin was evident in his moving, tear-jerking accounts of different events in history. The tour was entertaining, thought-provoking and inspiring. And the bargain price was also appreciated. Highly recommended to all!
Starting in the heart of west Berlin before the cragged spire of the bombed out Memorial Church, get a full description of: the ferocity of the Allied bombing campaign and the defence of the Nazi Reich Capital; the Cross of Coventry and the Madonna of Stalingrad; where the mammoth flak towers stood; and the experiences of those caught in the onslaught of the Soviet forces
