My two sisters and I recently visited Berlin and went on the Third Reich tour led by our fearless leader, Nigel. I have been on various tours throughout Europe, but this one was by far the best thanks to Nigel
Thanks for a fantastic insight into the history and of Berlin. It was all brought very much to life by our excellent, humorous and extrememly informative guide - Nigel. The tour lasted longer than it was scheduled to but - it was a blessing and it's not often I say that!!! Will certainly advise friends travelling to Berlin to take the Tour. THANK YOU!!!!

Kenny was excellent. Informative, funny and friendly. After our tour ALL of our A level students commented on how much they enjoyed it. The highlight of our stay in Berlin. Cheers Kenny - see you again next year! (Maybe you'll have finished your book)

A brilliant tour with a brilliant guide. Nigel's infectious enthusiasm for the city, its language, its architecture and its amazing history kept everyone enthralled and fascinated despite the cold...he even got the locals to smile as we blocked the pavement in a huddle to lessen the freezing Sunday morning wind. As a historian myself it was a pleasure to share Nigel's deep knowledge, experience and understanding - I saw and learned an incredible amount in such a short space of time and Nigel's humour made the tour an absolute blast....I could not recommend this tour highly enough. Cheers Nigel

Dear Sirs,
We have just returned from our first visit to Berlin. Whilst in the city we did the above tour with a guide called Nigel. Undoubted it was the highlight of our visit. Nigel was superb bringing the subject to life and with such enthusiasm. His knowledge of the subject was unrivalled and his willingness to answer questions directly and undirectly related to the subject matter whilst still being about Berlin was refreshing. He took us to places that he thought important to the subject matter and adapted the tour based on the needs/wishes of his audience. This was particularly important to us as our 17yr old daughter is studying the subject for her A-level course work at the moment. We ended the tour feeling that we had learnt much andgot into the very heart of the subject - so refreshing. He is a credit to himself and your organisation and hopefully you value him as a guide and his input into the tours that you organise.
Perfect!
Last Saturday pm I came in Berlin for a trip with some friends-collegues: we planned something to visit but we had also a very short time, in fact we left on Tuesday pm!! My friend proposed to try with Your "famous Insider Tour": I was sceptical as I preferred to discover the city by myself but...thanks to You, especially to Jamie, we could "taste" Berlin in so short time...it was a fantastic idea!! Jamie conducted us through the recent history of the city, not only, his ability in explaining & in knowledge let us understand also feelings & social problems of its people. He was absolutely NO-Boring!!
Personally I appreciated also his good-manners (it's important for this kind of job!): he kept the whole group together, he waited, he try to clarify in italian too (for us as our english is not so good).
The price of a museum-ticket for about 5 hours-tour: a cheap price for a museum "under the sky" with an important part of European history!!
We left Berlin very satisfied for our chose with the promise to come back.
I recomended this tour to some friends of mine leaving to Berlin next month.
If Jamie might come in Italy for a tour in the surrounding of Paestum (Velia, Padula,...), I would be glad to give him some tips!
"Well done!" to Jamie & to Your organization.
Regards from Milan

I took part in the morning tour led by Scott. Please pass on my sincere thanks for an amazing tour! Scott created for me, and I'm sure the other participants, a very memorable experience. He brought 20th Century history to life through his detailed knowledge of the Nazi and Cold War eras. Many aspects of the tour are deeply shocking and moving. The memorial of the mother with her dead son at her feet brought a lump to my throat especially, I think, because I have two sons of my own who, thankfully, are in fine health.
This day was certainly one of those significant life events that stay with you all your life.
Congratulations to everyone on your team for a great service. If I ever return to Berlin, I shall take another tour without fail.
Best regards to you all and especially Scott.
I will suggest to all my friends to choose to visit Berlin by Insidertour. My wife and I enjoyed so much with Jamie's explanation of the history and the development of the sites. You pay so little but you get so much! It is such a pitty that you do not have the same program in other European countries. It is understandable that only in an orderly city like Berlin such a tour is meaningful. We like it very much!

Dunkley simply ROCKS!
85 tourists, a cold Berlin day and a guide who made the tour of Berlin come alive. His first hand knowledge, passion for the subject and his dry English wit? had us all wanting more. The gluwine at the Brandenberg Gate post tour will be remembered for many years to come.
Our tour of nazi era third reich sites in Berlin was totally unexpectedly outstanding. Siberian temperatures, slipping on snow and ice, we loved every minute of it, and Nigel too. Nigel is, in a word, brilliant. He has an awesome mass of detailed knowledge, enthusiasm, humor and is just totally cool. Hi and thank you from his Big Apple fan club! Rosie B
