What a fun tour! Despite the cold, Kenny was friendly and chatty with all and provided us with interesting and detailed information, along with a great bit of humor! It was amazing to see all the historical places and get the easy to understand truth about the different areas. He was a teriffic tour guide, even my kids (age 6 and 10) enjoyed listening to his tales of Berlin! Thank You so much! And get the man a pair of ear-muffs! ;)

I travelled to Berlin for only a weekend, so I didn't have enough time to give the city full justice. However, I stumbled upon the insider tour and was greeted by Kenny the Scotsman. The tour was extremely informative and very interesting with a touch of humour thrown in at appropriate times. After the tour disbanded Kenny and several others went on the rides at the christmas markets. Had absolutely mint time. That paved the way to the Pub Crawl led by Simone I believe. Also another fantastic experience accompanied by a South African and two Aussie girls. A big thumbs up for Insider Tours, Berlin, Kenny and Simone for giving me such a great time.

I just wanted to tell you how profoundly impressed my husband and I were by Penelope, with whom we went on the Sachsenhausen tour last Sunday. I have read a great deal, and written various articles, about the Nazi period, so I did not expect to learn much that was new to me, but she was so well-informed, and had clearly thought so deeply about the ramifications of what she was telling us, that all her factual material came vividly alive. Without being preachy or simplistic, she turned the information she was presenting into an impassioned morality tale that is likely to haunt everyone in the group for a long time.
