This tour was a perfect balance between history and laughter. Our tour guide, Jessica, who is apparently new to the company, was stellar and never missed a step in taking us around Berlin! She was definitely the reason we enjoyed Berlin so much! If you are so lucky to get her as a guide, its a guaranteed good time! I recommend INSIDER TOURS!
This was by far one of the best tours I've ever been a part of. Andrew clearly knew the Berlin history and was very enthusiastic about it. Even in the bitter cold with the snow he made history interesting.

We (my girlfriend and I) had a great tour with our guide Jessica (I would have picked her, but she isn't listed above). Though the weather was really nasty (sudden hail storms, especially on the Bebelplatz) we got to see a lot and learned even more.
Jessica is a GREAT guide. She has a thrilling way to tell stories that she acts out as well!
I had heard about the tour from a friend (who recommended it) and have to say he was right. We will definitely come back though it will be tough to chose the next tour and which of the other site suggested.
Thanks a lot!
Best wishes,
Val and Georg
We just wanted to drop a line to show our appreciation to Andrew for two great walking tours during our recent stay in Berlin. Would highly recommend the tours to anyone who wishes to know more about the history of the city at first hand. Thanks!
I would like to congratulate Indsider tours for there new
addition. I went on Jessicas tour to Sachsenhausen Consentration
camp on Friday and she informed me she just started with you.
This was beyond doubt the best tour I have EVER been on.
Jessica is not only attentive to the group but has a wonderful
way of engaging her audience.
She tackled this sensitive subject matter with delicacy and this
highly informative tour went beyond how these camps were run but
gave us, well... me (!) a great picture for this whole time period.
I just want to say THANKS to Jessica who's information and
knowledge made the Tour thoroughly unforgettable.
Thanks a lot
Kind regards,
Paul Reef
Nigel's tour out to Sachsenhausen was absolutely fantastic! To hear his stories about the people he's met who were actually living and working in the camp was something you just can't get from a book or TV. Nigel's experience from seeing Berlin go through many changes is very insightful and a MUST if you visit Berlin. Thanks Nigel
ps. He also knows the great local pubs to go to.
From the moment you meet Nigel you know that your tour with him will be special. One immediately warms to his eloquence, knowledge and humour. As a guide he has that rare ability to relate to all age groups and he definitely made us all feel valued. Perhaps the most impressive thing about this tour was the caring and respectful way Nigel presented and talked about life for the occupants of the Camp. It would have been easy to fall into the trap of over-dramtising Sachesenhausen, but we had nothing but admiration for the way Nigel conducted himself. To complete the day we were invited to enjoy a drink and sit in awe at Nigel's social skills, storytelling and banter that flowed effortlessly as he recounted his life experiences. Insider Tours you should consider yourselves very lucky to have this man working with you; do not lose him.

In all our years of travelling we have never before met a tour guide who was able to enthrall an audience as Nigel did on our visit to Sachsenhausen. His knowledge was positively encyclopaedic, and his delivery was such that our visit was made the more chillingly atmospheric. The weather on the day was utterly appalling - freezing cold and with rain like stair rods, but did this dampen Nigel's enthusiam? - not a bit of it! Without doubt this was the highlight of our visit to this incredible city, and I would unreservedly recommend this tour to anyone.
We really enjoyed the tour we had of Berlin and especially Andrew's knowledge and insights! It was well worth the cold wind. Andrew did a great job! We'd recommend the tour to anyone - a really great way to see Berlin. Thanks!
Join us for an fascinating day trip with private bus to Dresden - the royal residence of the King's of Saxony, who established a city of such cultural and artistic splendour it was named “The Pearl of the Baroque” and is considered one of Germany's most beautiful capitals and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage City
